Clarksville is very fortunate to have so much development happening throughout the entire city. However, there is one area in particular that seems to be growing faster than others. The Exit 1 area is experiencing rapid growth. Within the last 5 years there have been many new neighborhoods and businesses that are new to the area. There is also more development talk on the horizon as well. There are so many new construction neighborhoods that it is difficult for home buyers to keep up with the new developments. If you are in the market for a new home or looking to build your new home, this is a great time to be a buyer. You have so many options, in terms of price range location and even builders. Exit 1 is a great area for your new home because there are neighborhoods that you can build in ranging from $175,000 all the way up to $350,000. You may want to research some of the areas near exit one before actually settling on one neighborhood over another though. With growth and development also comes lots of traffic and congestion. Depending on which way you need to travel for work, school, or just for fun you may want to think about directions of travel. All of the schools are located south of the exit right off of Trenton road (Northeast High School, Middle School, Elementary school). Traffic will always be slower around school areas and if you are looking to avoid that, Tylertown Road area may be your best option. Summerfield is so new that there aren't even any homes finished in there yet. It would be a great option if you are looking to build a home that would range around $250,000. Another great thing about that neighborhood, there is a fire station located right by the entrance. Crosswinds is also on Tylertown road along with Fox Crossing. Both neighborhoods are between $200,000 and $275,000. Eagle's Landing and Eagle's Bluff are also great options if you are looking to stay south of the exit and also want to stay closer to $200,000. These neighborhoods are located next to each other and are walking distance to all the schools. There are some newer homes being built in the back of Timber Springs and also an unnamed development off of Hazelwood road. This is only the single family homes part.
